Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. The actress also worked for in the SSC as the producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director, and text-coach while serving as Artistic Direction. For her last year she worked as a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She was a cheerleader. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with who they have two children. Post has inspired numerous Hollywood actors since she's an amazing actress as well as the an ideal mother and wife.
